Dr Mary Girgis MBBS (Hons) FRACP
Consultant Endocrinologist
Dr Mary Girgis is an experienced clinical endocrinologist. Her areas of interest are diabetes mellitus type 2, obesity, Graves’ disease and osteoporosis.
Dr Girgis graduated with honours from the University of Sydney and trained as an endocrinologist in Sydney. Dr Girgis was involved in research in the area of insulin resistance at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research during her training.
Dr Girgis regularly attends courses and conferences in Endocrinology including attaining World Obesity Federation SCOPE certification and completing the Harvard University Clinical Endocrinology course, as well as attending meetings and conferences of the Endocrine Society of Australia and the Australian Diabetes Society.

- Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, Adult division- Endocrinology
- Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (Honours). University of Sydney
- Member of the Endocrine Society of Australia
- Member of the Australian Diabetes Society

Accepts referrals for adult patients (18 years and above) with:
Diabetes, Obesity, Osteoporosis, Female reproductive disorders (PCOS, amenorrhoea, hyperprolactinaemia), Hypercalcaemia/parathyroid disorders, Thyroid disease, Adrenal disease.
