Geriatric Medicine Specialist and Consultant Physician
Dr Welkee Sim is a physician and has been practicing in the field of geriatric medicine since 2005. He is a graduate of The University of Queensland and obtained his physician qualification (FRACP) in 2007. He is currently employed as a part-time staff specialist at The Prince of Wales Hospital and has admitting rights to several other private hospitals in various area.
Dr Sim is passionate about the health of the elderly in the community, especially with regards to quality of life issues and strongly believes in supporting independent living for as long as possible. He also places great importance on educating family members and carers so as to reduce carer stress.
Dr Sim is available for medical consultation and requires a referral from a general practitioner. Special arrangements can be made to see patients either at home or at a residential facility.
